SPREADING THE
VIBRATION OF YOGA

Yogi Beans is a kids yoga company committed to introducing young people to a healthy and lifelong activity that is noncompetitive, non-judgmental, physically challenging, and a ton of fun!

We are all about the vibration of yoga — both in the program and in the environment — created through our range of programming that can effectuate healthy and positive changes in children in the most educational and engaging ways.

ORIGINAL PRORAMMING

Our core program structure develops children's abilities to focus (attention), stand up straight (posture), move their limbs with control (coordination) and grace (flexibility), and find inner strength (self-confidence).

Our curricula are designed to introduce young people – from babies to teenagers – to the foundations of yoga and mindfulness, and translate novel concepts into a language that can be understood and internalized.

CLASSES FOR KIDS + PARENTS

All Yogi Beans classes provide a balance between structured and free-flowing age-specific activities. Guided by a certified instructor, programs include age-appropriate poses, games, props, music, and mindfulness and breathing exercises to energize and challenge kids' bodies and minds. All programs conclude with a period of relaxation.

Our collection of specialized classes offer yoga and mindfulness programs for babies
(9+ months) to teenagers.

LARUEN CHAITOFF, FOUNDER & COO

Yogi Beans is the brainchild of mind-body-fitness expert Lauren Chaitoff, who founded Yogi Beans in 2007. Lauren found herself teaching yoga to hundreds of kids, attending numerous trainings, workshops and lectures and designing the Yogi Beans curriculum "sprouting" from her innate ability to connect with children and her knowledge of yoga. Yogi Beans has since become one of the top rated children's programs in New York City.

As Founder & COO, Lauren oversees and trains the stellar Yogi Beans Instructor team, leads regular Yogi Beans' public teacher trainings, and creates and teaches weekly classes to beans of all ages at a range of venues. Lauren holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theater from Northwestern University and is a registered E-RYT Yoga Instructor through the Yoga Alliance. Lauren continuously evolves Yogi Beans' programming from her extensive experiences in the classroom, on her mat, and through her love of her own beans, Vivienne Bell and Juliette Rose.
